Once you have finished typing in your password have you tried clicking with the mouse rather than hitting enter? There was a bug a while back that made the Cancel button the default so hitting enter took you backwards.

They may be waiting until after the changes to the Rorq go into effect before changing links. Pilots are going to need a better reason to deploy one of those in a belt than just gang links. Especially when an Orca can do almost as good a job, does...

Sounds like you acknowledge that you can be forced into PvP and take responsibility for your own safety. Regardless of whether you ever seek a fight in your entire time in New Eden or not this would mean you are not a Carebear.

Don't forget Goons have a strong external locus for their community in the Something Awful forums. Events that would lead to a failcascade in other alliances don't cause the same problems with Goons.

I don't know if this still applies but back in the day turning off brackets in your overview settings helped a lot during big fights. For some reason drawing 2D brackets in 3D space took up more resources than you might think and didn't scale well...
